A Mother, A Dreamer, A Breadwinner

There was a time when I thought being a breadwinner meant carrying all the weight alone.

Leaving my home country to work abroad was one of the hardest decisions I ever made. Like many overseas workers, I left not because I wanted to be far from my family, but because I wanted to give them a better future.

The journey was not always easy.

There were lonely days, missed birthdays, holidays spent away from loved ones, and moments when I questioned whether all the sacrifices were worth it. Yet every challenge reminded me why I started—to provide opportunities, security, and hope for my family.

Today, I am grateful to share that my 9-year-old son is now reunited with me here in Prague. Having him beside me again is one of the greatest blessings of my life. His laughter fills our home, and his creativity inspires me every day.

But my journey did not stop at working abroad.

I began exploring new ways to build a future beyond a traditional job. I learned basic design through Canva, created digital products, explored affiliate marketing, and started building my own brands, including Selene Essence™, a candle brand inspired by the gentle light of the moon.

That is why I created The Breadwinner Channel.

This platform is more than a blog. It is a space for breadwinners, parents, dreamers, and aspiring entrepreneurs who want to build a life filled with purpose and possibility.
